One of Beckford’s spectacular gold ewers by Henri Auguste will be sold at Christie’s in Paris on 4th November (lot 519). The fascinating catalogue lot notes are based on work by the Beckford Society’s own Dr Bet McLeod.

A jolly time was had by all at @SalisburyMuseum for this year’s Beckford Society AGM. Turner’s Wessex exhibition is thoroughly recommended!
